Description

Located at the base of a hill, underneath the cover of lush tropical fruit trees, are the group of “canopy cottages”.  These cottages were designed with the rooms atop the bathroom to capture the breeze and coolness of their surroundings.

Our special Lawn Cottages are designed to accommodate seniors and persons with mobility disabilities. Easy access is provided with ground level, cosy cottages. Many of the rooms overlook the panoramic vista of the sugarcane plains and surrounding hills.

Dine in at our on-site restaurant. We specialize in Jamaican and European Cuisine as well as sumptuous vegetarian dishes.  To keep with our holistic and healing philosophies, we create many of our meals with ingredients grown in own herbal and vegetable garden.

Dining

Peppermint Restaurant : Just up the Sunset Heal hillside, 180 steps from ground level, you will find our Peppermint Restaurant. Relax and enjoy our elegant fare in this gloriously designed wood and stone restaurant as you take in the view of plains of sugarcane and mountains that stretch all the way to the Caribbean Sea.

Spa: Indulge in stress-melting spa treatments to ease your body and the mind. Deep relaxation happens when your senses respond to pleasurable stimulation, melting away tension and tightness to produce a healing state of contentment and peace. Experience an oasis of relaxation and calm away from a stressful, toxic world. We strive for a total sensory experience – using the basic senses as a guide to that magical condition of lightness, peace and clarity.

History
Seventeen years ago, Beatrice Vergano came to Jamaica to attend Reggae Sumfest. In a visit to Roaring River in the western region of the Island, she discovered a spot of land close by that, to her was simply “a piece of heaven on earth”. What she discovered was nature's exquisite tapestry; towering hills with unobstructed views of culture rich sugarcane valleys extending for miles to the Caribbean Sea, mineral rich natural springs surrounded by lush tropical fauna. Over the years she kept coming back to visit her secret paradise and throughout those visits her dream began to take form.
